Job Title: Electrical / PV Installer

Salary (DOE) + Training on Renewables + Progression Opportunities + Pension + Holidays

We are looking for a fully qualified electrician looking for the opportunity to join us on our journey to provide renewable energy to our existing client base.

In this role, the Qualified Electrician will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of solar PV systems on domestic and commercial properties across the South West and nationwide. You will also test and inspect electrical work and carry out electrical installation and maintenance when required.  You will receive industry-specific training with scope to progress your career.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified electrician with a keen interest in the renewable sector with experience in the design, installation and commissioning of PV Systems.  Qualifications to include NVQ Level 3, AM2 and 18th edition, and candidates must have a flexible approach to the working day and potential nights away.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Metal Stud and Aluminium Partitioning Sub Contractor to join our construction team. As a sub contractor specialising in this field, you will play a crucial role in the successful completion of our commercial projects. Your expertise in metal stud framing and aluminium partitioning systems will contribute to the high-quality construction of interior spaces.

Responsibilities:

Metal Stud Framing: Accurately measure, cut, and install metal studs, tracks, and related framing materials according to project specifications and drawings.
Aluminium Partitioning: Expertly install aluminium partitioning systems, including the assembly and installation of frames, glass panels, doors, and related components.
Quality Control: Perform quality checks on all metal stud and aluminium partitioning work to ensure it meets industry standards and project requirements.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, promoting a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
Collaboration: Work closely with other subcontractors, contractors, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of metal stud and aluminium partitioning work within the broader construction project.
Problem Solving: Identify and address any issues or challenges that may arise during the installation process, offering solutions to ensure project continuity.
Project Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any changes made to the original plans.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Metal Stud and Aluminium Partitioner.
  • Strong knowledge of metal stud framing and aluminium partitioning systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and drawings.
  • Proficiency in using relevant tools and equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
  • Safety-conscious with knowledge of construction safety protocols.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Working Conditions:

  • This position may require working in various indoor and outdoor environments, including construction sites.
  • May involve lifting and carrying heavy materials and working at heights.
  • PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) must be worn as required for safety.
