Client Name: Maison De Fluer
Project Completion: September 2015
Location: Battersea, London
Industry they are in: Retail/Trade
About the company we are working with:-
Maison de Fluer are a London florist with amazing attention to detail and customer focused approach which was evident from the first site meeting to the final handover.
What were they trying to resolve:-
They came to us with a vision to move their business in to some newly refurbished railway arches next to Battersea Power Station, London. This was a fairly unique challenge due to the complexities of having to build a first floor structure and office without using any structural part of the refurbished railway arch as per Network Rails requirements.
What was the solution:–
We installed two free standing Mezzanine floors internally of the units with a free standing steel frame work to support the new office structure. This was required due to the restrictions put in place by Network Rail to ensure the integrity of the railway bridge structure isn’t comprised by any internal fit out of these arches.
The fit out comprised of many different elements which included the supply, design and installation of a Office Mezzanine Floor, Storage Mezzanine Floor, free standing steel arch, office partitioning, ceilings, decoration, flooring, mechanical and electrical works.
- Office Mezzanine
- Storage Mezzanine
- Suspended Ceilings
- Air Conditioning
- Full design and building regulation consultation
What was the result:-
A new and purpose built Storage Mezzanine along with a new Office Mezzanine in London. The attention to detail in the finishes was worth while from the initial concept drawings to the finished office space.
A dedicated ground floor work area for the flowers and storage mezzanine for all their event props really has boosted productivity and the quality of service they can provide.
