Building Regulations for mezzanine floors
Every mezzanine floor installation requires Building Regulations approval. Western Industrial manages the application process on your behalf as a standard part of every project, at no additional charge. We handle the structural calculations, fire strategy drawings where required, and all correspondence with the Building Control Inspector.
Our installations comply with the relevant Approved Documents, including Approved Document A (Structure), Approved Document B (Fire Safety), Approved Document K (Protection from Falling) and Approved Document M (Access) where applicable. All structural steelwork we supply carries UKCA marking in accordance with BS EN 1090, the legal requirement for fabricated structural steelwork in Great Britain.
